At 1:12 pm on February 23, 2010 I was sitting at my desk typing an e-mail response to my friend, Simone, when my calculator which I had turned on earlier but had not used yet advanced the paper. Startled, I looked to see if something had hit it, but there was nothing touching it. It then began to do it over and over intermittently. I felt him here, my brother John again. I called my son, Jake into the room to see if it would continue. It did...of and on sometimes slow, sometimes fast. Jake said he felt a vibe in the room too. I said, “Hey dude, how’s it going. Do you need something or you just here to say Hi?” It continued almost like Morse Code. I finally tried to hit some numbers, but it did nothing. I turned it off then back on. It began again, but I think he is finished now...about ten minutes and 3 ½ feet of adding machine tape later!
I just realized that John’s last visit on November 4th was the day that Jake was taking his driving test and passed. Today February 23rd is Jason’s first day at his new job. Jason & I have been fighting a lot over money and fixing his car to be safe to drive to Irvine. So maybe these are the reasons for his visiting me. By the way, Jason called me at at 1:50 to tell me he was on his way home from work, and he just arrived safely. I think it is safe to assume that my brother is concerned with his nephews driving. For that I am grateful.
